Step Into Expansion

So often at the first of the year we shift our focus to new beginnings.  A fresh start to the life we long to live.  Yet, winter is a time of going within to embrace our shadows, healing our unresolved energy and truly discovering the callings of our heart.  The calling of the Divine.  

As we sit in this space of reflection, allow yourself to truly see how far you have come.  Allow yourself to embrace your accomplishments, your challenges, your healing, growth and expansion.  What have you learned?  What have you accepted?  What are you choosing to let go?  How have you changed?   Use these discoveries to assist you as you shift your perspective to the coming year.   

What does expansion mean to you?  Are you open to receive all that you desire? How can you surrender to the mystery and allow the Divine to guide you?  As you identify what you would like to call into your experience, plant your seeds of intention deep within your heart.  Nurture them as you nurture your own being, honoring the unfolding as you surrender to the mystery of all that is.  Like the seeds planted deep within the soil, allow magic to take place within the darkness.  Know that it is from the darkness that we grow into the light.  Trust that all is unfolding for your highest good.  Just because you don’t see it now doesn’t mean it’s not on its way.  Allow the Divine to guide you as you open your heart to receive.

Coming Home To Your Heart

As the year begins it’s quiet decent to completion and winter beckons us home within our hearts, we are blessed with the stillness the season brings.  With quiet minds and open hearts we allow the experiences of this past year to be embraced, honoring the lessons we have learned and the blessings we have received.  

Winter has a profound way of reminding us to turn inward, planting new seeds of intention to nurture and grow in the year to come.  It is a time for honoring all that we have been, all that we are, and all we are yet to become.  It is the becoming that awaits us.  The becoming of who we long to be in this life.  Renewing the desires of our hearts and allowing the Divine to guide us.  Letting go of our own expectations, surrendering to the unfolding and opening to the wonder of mystery.  It is through this mystery that magic takes hold, often bringing into our lives blessings beyond what we ever could have imagined.  Lean into the feeling of coming home, embrace the journey of your soul and open your heart to receive all that is meant for you in the coming year.  Open to the expansion of your light and the unfolding of abundance and dreams come true.

Expansion Through Connection

As a Jani Tara and caretaker of the earth, the essence of my soul calls for me to create expansion through connection and community.  To say that doesn’t come easily for me as an introvert is an understatement yet I crave the energetic exchange that can only happen when we choose to open our hearts to one another.  

This journey that we walk is one unique to each of us, often cycling through expansion and contraction much like the seasons of Mother Earth.  Often we are called to go within so that we can embrace our shadows and discover our light.  I too have moved through this season, learning how to love and honor all that I am in solitude.  As I emerge from my little hermit hidey hole, I am hit with a deep need for connection.  

True soul level connection.

I am grateful for the time spent in darkness as it cleared away that which no longer serves me and created space for me to call in the resonance of my being.  Calling in you.  My soul family.  One who sees there is more to this life than the third dimensional realm leads us to believe.  A bright shining infinite being of light having a human experience in co-creation with the Divine.  We are not meant to walk this journey alone for we are all one.  Through the embrace of connection and community, we experience a greater expansion of our being as we heal, grow and open to all that we are.  

Through connection we open our heart and shine our beautiful light.

Anchor Your Light

When we think about ascension and enlightenment, often times we direct our focus to tapping into our third eye, working with our higher chakras and light bodies, and connecting with the angels, masters and our guides.  It’s easy to get swept up in the expansiveness of all that you are and your life on earth may start to look and feel distorted and separate in some way.  This happened to me last summer.  I had experienced so much expansion in such a short amount of time and wasn’t remembering to ground my energy.  I wasn’t allowing my physical body the time and space to integrate and settle into the energetic changes occurring within my being.  I was disconnected from my human experience.  

I was guided to reconnect with nature.  To spend time in silence feeling the heartbeat of Mother Earth.  Listening to the wisdom of the trees and baring witness to the sheer beauty and wonder we are blessed with every single day.  We are here, on this earth, for a reason.  Everything we need is already within and around us in each moment.  All we have to do is connect in.  Anchor our lights within the heart of Mother Earth so that we can move forward in alignment with the Divine plan.

Planting The Seed

As someone held back by fear, I am constantly worried about being the weird guy talking passionately about all things spirituality, vibration and frequency, healing, growth and basically anything energy and soul related. I can’t help myself, it’s how I look at life now. The thing is though, most of the people I’m chatting with aren’t into it and I’m usually left over analyzing everything I said wishing I could just be “normal” for once.

But I’m not normal.

I’m not supposed to be normal.

I am here to help people awaken to who they really are, to heal and to grow and to open their pillar of light, raising the vibration of not only themselves but of those around them and Mother Earth. I am a seed planter. I see that now and as someone who loves the earth and all of her kingdoms, it’s a fitting position to be in. So I walk forward, planting seeds and shining my light and when those seeds are ready, through nurture and love, they will bloom within the hearts of those I have had the honor of sharing my awkward way of being the light.

Discovery Through Surrender

One of the biggest challenges we face is stepping outside of the story and allowing the truth to be revealed.  Accepting all for what it is while our reactions, emotions and unhealed traumas are being triggered.  It’s not always easy to surrender when the tidal wave comes crashing down, yet just like swimming in the ocean, resistance makes the tumble harder to move through.  

The past several weeks have presented a set of waves that uprooted trauma’s and patterns I had so neatly kept tucked away.  As you may have noticed, growth doesn’t occur in your comfort zone and as I walk this path in my light, it was time for healing on a deeper level.  I was presented with people and situations that tumbled me through an array of emotions and I’ll be honest when I say, it wasn’t always pretty.  Days spent crying, feeling lost, depressed, confused and being forced to look at my self through the multicolored lens of who I was and who I am now.  I find it by no coincidence that this occurred as I was creating the Self Love Challenge because the tools I was putting into place were there to support me in seeing things from a different perspective and allowing me the opportunity to hold myself in love.  

It begins within.  

When we step outside of the story and stop blaming others for what we experience, we begin to see that we have co-created our reality and attracted into our lives the exact right people and situations to help us grow.  Others are simply a reflection of the energy we hold.  Becoming the observer and surrendering to the process allows us to step back and discover the truth within.

Impact Through Imperfection

 I can’t even tell you how many times I haven’t “shown up” because I wasn’t perfect.  I fear rejection and judgement, drowning in the shadows of my imperfections, unable to step into the unrealistic expectations of who I think I need to be in order to shine my light.  Even as I write this, the aspects and beliefs I hold that I am not worthy, that I am not good enough, are surfacing to remind me of how imperfect I am.  

I was sharing this vulnerable truth with a friend of mine and what she told me shattered the bubble of illusion holding me back, keeping me small.  She told me that showing up exactly as I am in all of my imperfections had made a significant impact on her life.  My mind was blown.  Of course when I look at the people who inspire me, they aren’t a picture of perfection.  

They are real.  

They struggle.  

They show up and shine exactly as they are.  

Why would I need to be any different?  

Maybe we make our greatest impact because of our imperfections.  Maybe how we see ourselves is like looking through the dirty window of our traumas and limiting beliefs and not actually the truth.  

The Divine Truth.  

What if all those imperfections were actually your greatest gifts?  

There is only one you.  

You are a masterpiece, a kaleidoscope of unique experiences, thoughts, ideas, feelings and creative expressions.  You are the only one who can be you.  You are perfect exactly as you are.  Don’t let your struggles hold you back from being your authentic self.  

Be brave.  

Step forward in all that makes you vulnerable and imperfect.  

Use your voice.  

Show up and shine your light.  

You never know how powerful of an impact you will make in the lives you touch by simply being exactly as you are.

Simply A Reflection

When we step outside of the story and unwrap the gift of our e-motions, we can see that what is triggered within us is simply a reflection of the unresolved energy we hold. You will attract many teachers throughout your life who have come to be that mirror for you. You have this beautiful opportunity to look inside of your own being to hold the unresolved parts of you in unconditional love.

Right Where You Are Meant To Be

Sometimes things happen unexpectedly or maybe not fast enough. It’s easy to look back and regret choices we made or didn’t make, wish we had done things sooner or waited a little longer to push ahead. I’m here to remind you that you are right where you are supposed to be. You are right on time for exactly what is happening in your life. Embrace the divine timing. You were meant to go through everything you did to be right where you are today. Hold compassion for your past while being present in the now. There is so much to be discovered when you surrender to the mystery of the Divine plan. Enjoy the journey
